Scope
This document applies to all Zhone products that utilize the standard Zhone Command Line
Interface (CLI). These units will have a CLI as shown below:
zSH>new ip-interface-record 1/1/1/0/ip
Introduction
The Zhone CLI is profile based. This document will describe the 4 basic navigation commands
(delete, get, new, and update) and how they are used in conjunction with the configuration
profiles.
Requirements
Hardware:
Any Zhone product utilizing the Zhone CLI (BAN, Z-Edge 64, Z-Plex 10, etc.)
Software:
Access to the Zhone CLI via a craft or Telnet connection
Configuration Steps
1. Basic CLI Navigation (list and lst)
1a. There are two basic commands that will allow easy navigation through the profiles that
need to be configured on any system. These two commands will display a list of all the
configurable profiles (list) and system information and navigation commands (lst)
zSH> list
aal2-audio-profile: audioProfileIdentifier/apIndex
aal2-cid-profile: ifIndex/vpi/vci/cid
aal2-vcl-profile: ifIndex/vpi/vci
